This year, Ron Jackson has contributed to two albums that have been submitted for GRAMMY® consideration. Both projects showcase his versatility and skill as both a musician and producer.

"DAYDREAMING"

Ron Jackson's EP Daydreaming, was composed in 2023 with two specific musicians in mind, Pat Bianchi, organ and Winard Harper, drums. Together the trio delivers a captivating performance. The title cut, Daydreaming has been submitted for two nominations - Best Jazz Performance and Best Instrumental Composition.

This recording, epitomizes the brilliance and complexity of contemporary jazz, masterfully combining rhythm, melody, and improvisation.

Produced by Ron Jackson, Tyneshia Hill, Bryan Johnson, and Kevin Powell, this live album captures the essence of spoken word poetry, enriched by powerful musical performances. Featuring vocalists Tyneshia Hill, Evangeline Lawson, and Keeara Powell, the album is in consideration for Album of the Year, Best Spoken Word Poetry Album and seven additional categories.  

The live performance resonates with both music and emotion, bringing powerful storytelling to the forefront.
